Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3. . .

I am back again at my friend Mary’s house, with my usual mixture of awe and gratitude for her seemingly magical skills with technology. Today she is going to help me set up a blog.

I thought and thought about what to call it and finally came up with “Dixie Minor Winter Wish Thoughts.” That way I figured I could write about my book, Winter Wish, or about writing, or about thoughts I had while I was working on the book. Maybe I could blog about the characters, the ideas, living in north Georgia, the mountains, diners, or cooking. . . as you can see, I left myself a little wiggle room for content for this blog!

Some of the topics – such as, oh, say, cooking – I don’t know much about, but I am interested in. Other topics I have been trying to learn more about.

Today we are pretty much just getting it set up, testing out the buttons and clicks. (I would say “bells and whistles,” but I don’t think we’re that far yet.)

This blog will be linked to my Dixie Minor Winter Wish Facebook page, but only a short line or two will appear on the Facebook post. That way it is easy for you to pretty much ignore or read less of it if you don’t have the inclination to hear me go on at a bit more length. Which I would totally understand.

I will be learning! If you clicked on the link and came on over to the blog, thank you so much for reading my first attempt at a blog post.  And as always, thank you to Mary for helping me!  (I wanted to call this post “Monday at Mary’s, but it’s Sunday.)
